(500) Days of Weezy

Depressed.
In a period of 12 hours I watched Harlan County, USA on Hulu, then Gasland.  So in some sort of attempt to be less depressed, I went searching on the internet and found this beautiful/ devastating site of the Canary Project.  Maybe you should space yours out, but all three are great.  Photos via the Canary Project, showing the canary in a coal mine results of global warming.

The Great Boot Search.
This seems to happen to both J and I at least once a year.  Needless to say we both REALLY like boots. First I spotted these at JCrew.  They are too expensive (and currently backordered until December— is that even reasonable???) But with the low wedge and crepe sole, they are so perfect. But moving on to reasonable prices, I spotted these at the Gap More military than desert raider....

Someone Has Built It Before
Ingenious blog I stumbled upon. Traces the legacy of architecture.  All art is derivative.  There is no new art.  Imitation is flattery.  All that. Style note, the pop-up word press things are fing ANNOYING.
